WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• You will join us in our research to find a sustainable binder. Currently, we are trying to find a replacement for cement in our product. Besides making a product with a different binder, you will also set up a lifecycle analysis (LCA).  

• It is to your advantage if you have experience making an LCA but also find it interesting to research the effect of the binder on our material made from dredged sediments.

QUESTIONS YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:​

• Which different binders exist?

• How much profit in the field of CO2 / LCA calculation can we achieve with different binders?

• What are the costs of different binders?

• What is the effect of these binders on our material?
